Vet in a Van is a mobile veterinarian service travelling around Australia helping support other travellers and remote communities with basic veterinarian service.
Dogs, cats or animals a little more unique, are very popular and well loved family members. We noticed that so many families include their furred, feathered or scaled babies in their travel plans and how inconvenient that seeking simple veterinary care can be in some areas whilst travelling.
Whilst on ‘The Big Lap’ we’d love to provide fellow travellers with pets the convenience of having general health checks, dog vaccinations, worming, flea and tick treatment, microchipping, nail and fur trims and just some friendly veterinary advice close by.
Dr Tania is experienced with dogs, cats, small mammals, birds, reptiles and wildlife. She holds a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (with Distinction) and is professionally registered with the Veterinary Practitioners Registration Board of Victoria with recognition and approval to work in other States and Territories. She is a proud member of the Australian Veterinary Association, the Australian Small Animal Veterinarians and Unusual Pet and Avian Veterinarians groups, and member of the Association of Avian Veterinarians Australasian Committee.
Our mobile clinic veterinary services will be limited (hello compact caravan life!) but we can help out where we’re able to or provide first aid and referral to a local veterinary hospital. Take a peek at our list of services available under the ‘Services’ tab or just ask and we’ll see what we can do.
See ‘Contact Us’ for ways to get in touch or make an appointment.
We can’t wait to meet you!
