Having a pet go missing can be upsetting and nerve wracking, especially whilst travelling away from home where pets can easily become disoriented and confused by their surroundings. A microchip allows them to be electronically identified and returned home, and is legally required in most parts of Australia.

Most species can be implanted with a microchip. The microchip is the size of a grain of rice and is implanted under the skin by our vet using a special device.

Our microchip implantation includes online lifelong registration with an appropriate licenced registry in your State of residence.

We can scan your pet for an existing microchip for free, on request, if you’d like peace of mind that it’s present and working.
